Five food and takeaway firms, two salons and a new theatre company lead 37 Canterbury district registrations since 21 August, plus three closures.
Thirty-seven new companies registered an address in the Canterbury district between 21 August and 24 September. Food and takeaway businesses were the biggest single group, alongside two hair and beauty salons, a theatre company and a Blean-based community interest company.
Three Canterbury companies went the other way. A used car dealer on Sturry Road, a technology firm and a media agency all entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation this month.

A fourth notice, for Chadwicks (Faversham) Limited, trading as Antoniou Hair and Beauty, gives a registered office on Orange Street, Canterbury. It gives no trading address, so we cannot say whether a Canterbury salon is affected (Gazette notice 5211141).
